FOV and stretched resolution

Updated 2026-10-16

Use the native Aspect Ratio slider in Video settings. The developer’s 6 October 2026 video shows its exact menu location and changes in the rendered view. It does not show a FOV 120 control or a labeled 4:3 preset, and its decimal slider value must not be treated as a calibrated aspect-ratio formula.

Change aspect ratio in the game, not a GPU tool

In the linked official 26-second clip, the player opens the menu, clicks the top-right gear, and enters Video settings. Around 0:13–0:15, an Advanced section contains an Aspect Ratio row with a horizontal slider and a pencil/value control. This is an observed developer demonstration, not a procedure inferred from CS2.

The video moves the slider and then returns to the same warmup scene. Building proportions and framing change visibly. No separate Apply button is demonstrated in that sequence. The displayed decimal is a control value; the clip does not identify it as degrees, width divided by height, or a universal 4:3 setting.

4:3, stretched presentation, and pixel resolution

Aspect ratio is the relationship between image width and height; display resolution is a pixel count. Changing the native game slider is not the same procedure as selecting a desktop resolution. The checked official clip contains no 4:3 label or pixel-resolution selector, so there is no evidence-backed numeric “4:3 code” to paste here.

CandySkull’s 7 October video also shows the native Aspect Ratio control in actual playback around 0:36–0:52, including decimal values such as 0.5 and 0.8 while the picture changes. These are demonstrated slider settings, not a measured conversion to 4:3 or FOV degrees. Record your own starting value before experimenting.

Use the built-in route before looking for GPU scaling tools, registry changes, FastFlags, or modified clients. Neither this recording nor Avisk’s 9 October update title establishes all-device compatibility or a performance increase.

What remains unverified about FOV

The recorded control is explicitly Aspect Ratio, not FOV. Neither the developer clip nor the sources checked here establish a 120-degree camera field of view or its activation steps. Viewmodel offsets move the weapon presentation; they are not a camera-FOV setting either.

Compare visibility without inventing an advantage

Use the same scene and unchanged mouse settings for each comparison. Check whether you can see both sides of a doorway and read the HUD clearly. A wider-looking enemy is not evidence of a larger hitbox. If aiming feels different, measure your physical turn distance rather than asserting that the slider changes the game’s angular sensitivity.

FAQ

Where is the native aspect ratio control?

The developer’s 6 October 2026 clip shows gear → Video → Advanced → Aspect Ratio, with a slider and an editable-value control around 0:13–0:15.

Which value gives 4:3 or FOV 120?

No mapping was established. The official demonstration does not label a 4:3 preset or FOV 120. Do not mistake a decimal slider value for a verified camera or aspect-ratio formula.

Will stretched resolution get me banned?

No BloxStrike-specific enforcement statement was verified. Do not treat this page as approval for modified clients, injectors, or undocumented flags.
