BloxStrike beginner guide
Updated 2026-10-16
BloxStrike is a round-based 5v5 shooter: earn match cash, buy equipment, and play the plant-or-defuse objective. In your first match, learn the buy menu, find the objective marker, and stay close enough to support a teammate.
Before playing: settings and the right menu
The official Nebula video shows Inventory, Loadout, Play, and Shop/Modes navigation, plus a settings gear. Around 2:12–2:14, its Keybinds page shows Buy Menu assigned to B and Fire to MouseButton1. Open the gear, select Keybinds, and check your own assignments if those controls do not work. These are observations of the published desktop interface, not a site-tested current client.
Destructoid’s settings screenshot shows W/A/S/D movement, Space jump, LeftControl crouch, and LeftShift walk. Its April article documents N for settings during a round. Preserve your existing bindings when experimenting; a controller layout or a rebound keyboard can differ.
Inventory is where the official video displays owned cosmetic items. Shop/Store offers are persistent cosmetic purchases, not the round buy menu. Do not spend code Credits or buy a skin simply because you want to use its base gun in a match.
The round, in the words Roblox publishes
The official description confirms rounds, a plant/defuse objective, and cash earned through performance for later purchases. The API server capacity is 14, but it does not explain how those slots are allocated. Do not infer spectators or bots from the number.
During a buy phase, press B with the recorded desktop binding to open Buy Menu. Check your round cash and the equipment cost before selecting a purchase, then coordinate whether the team is saving or spending. If B does nothing, check your binding and whether buying is allowed in the current mode, location, and round state. Starting cash, exact kill rewards, and loss bonuses are not supplied by the checked sources; no Counter-Strike economy is substituted.

Missing a gun? Check Loadout before buying cosmetics
Radex Tips’ 23 April public recording shows the concrete desktop operation: open Loadout, select the side with EQUIP CT or EQUIP T, find the weapon in the lower list, then drag its card into an upper category slot. At 0:41–0:42, the Stock R8 Revolver replaces Dual Berettas in the selected side’s Pistols column. This is a public-video observation, not a site-tested client.
For M4A4, open Loadout and select EQUIP CT. Find the Stock M4A4 card in the lower list, then drag it into the upper Rifles column. At 0:31–0:32 in Radex Tips’ recording, the M4A4 is dragged onto the second rifle slot and replaces M4A1-S. The Rifle / M4A4 filters shown afterward narrow the lower list; they are not a separate cosmetic purchase. Confirm that the upper slot now reads M4A4 before leaving.
For AWP, first check the upper Rifles column: the same CT layout already shows AWP in its third slot around 0:20, and the lower All Categories / All Weapons list shows a Stock AWP card around 0:25. In that demonstrated layout, AWP is already selected, so no skin purchase is needed to put it there. If your layout differs, the demonstrated category-slot method suggests dragging the Stock AWP into Rifles, but a separate AWP replacement was not observed.
To use an equipped M4A4 or AWP in a round, open Buy Menu with B during a valid buy phase, find the equipped weapon, check the displayed cash requirement, and select it if available. Fire is MouseButton1 in the official Keybinds recording. Loadout selection is separate from a round purchase: the checked footage establishes the slots and controls, not a completed purchase, a current price, or availability on every side and mode.
Habits that transfer from other bomb modes
Practical starting routine: choose one weapon you can afford, keep your crosshair near likely opponent height, clear one angle at a time, and avoid exposing yourself to several lanes together. These are tactical suggestions, not measured weapon rankings.
The developer channel publishes a peeking guide linked below. Use it to study positioning, then compare what happens in your own match. Do not copy a Counter-Strike purchase or assume its prices apply here.

What to ignore on night one
Focus on winning the objective before collecting cosmetics. Code guides report a level 5 gate. If you want an M4 or AWP, inspect the buy-menu categories and displayed requirements rather than entering a reward code. If a weapon is unavailable, read its restriction instead of assuming it needs a cosmetic unlock.
FAQ
How do I get more round money?
Roblox describes earning cash through round performance. Destructoid’s separate completed-match coin advice is about a different reward label, not a verified round-cash bonus.
How do I use M4A4 or AWP instead of buying a skin?
Set the base weapon in Loadout first. Radex Tips shows Stock M4A4 dragged into CT Rifles, replacing M4A1-S; AWP is already in that layout’s third Rifles slot. During a buy phase, press B and select the equipped gun if your cash and mode allow it. A cosmetic Store offer is not the round buy menu.
Where is the revolver?
Radex Tips’ April recording shows dragging Stock R8 Revolver from the lower Loadout list into Pistols for the selected side. The revolver guide gives the steps and separates them from round-cash buying.
